Sono nato a Pisa il 19 marzo 1961, ho iniziato a fotografare nel 1984 con una Yashica fx3, successivamente sono passato a NIkon oggi la mia attrezzatura è composta da una Nikon F70 e Nikon F90XS. Sono stato inscritto alla F.I.A.F. nel 1992-93 e successivamente dal 2003. Mi piace cimentarmi in tutti i generi di fotografia ma quella che preferisco è il reportage di viaggio e manifestazioni folcloristiche. Non amo la fotografia digitale elaborata e portata all’estremo perché ritengo che non sia più quel “Carpe Diem” che il fotografo insegue ma, qualsiasi cosa si voglia. Non sono un assiduo concorsista anche se frequento un circolo fotografico. La mia aspirazione più grande è quella di lavorare per agenzie a carattere turistico publicitario.
