A Les Saintes Maries de la Mer, in Camrgue, alle foci del Rodano, ogni anno ricorre il Pellegrinaggio al mare, l'Abrivado, delle Sante Maria Giacoma e Maria Salomona che con Santa Sara, la Madonna Nera, sono venerate dai gitani di tutta Europa. Nel Pellegrinaggio, affiancati ai gitani, si incontrano i Personaggi della Camargue vestiti con i loro costumi tipici.
