ALBERTO MURO PELLICONI Nato a Imola il 15 settembre 1949, studia a Faenza dove avviene la sua formazione artistica. Il suo innato estro creativo si esprime con varie tecniche alternando pittura, scultura, oreficeria e arti grafiche. Il vivo interesse per la fotografia lo ha portato,sin da giovanissimo, a compiere innumerevoli esperienze legate a questa attività. La grande passione per il mare lo impegna a dedicarsi quasi interamente, in questo ultimo ventennio, alla fotografia subacquea e alla continua scoperta ed esplorazione di fondali e vita sottomarina nei mari del mondo. Con le sue immagini ha ottenuto moltissimi riconoscimenti, vincendo prestigiosi premi nelle manifestazioni e nei concorsi più importanti in tutto il mondo come il NIKON PHOTO CONTEST, il FESTIVAL MONDIALE DELL'IMMAGINE SUBACQUEA DI ANTIBES, membro dell'esclusivo "club Prima" che comprende i più prestigiosi fotografi subacquei del mondo, le BIENNALI di LUGANO e PALERMO, il "J. DUMAS" della CMAS, il campionato del Mondo DI FOTOSUB 1990, l'International photographic underwater di LOS ANGELES, il World Photo Contest dell'UNESCO in Giappone. Collabora con agenzie fotografiche, operatori commerciali subacquei, tour operator, edizioni internazionali, riviste specializzate tra cui "Il Subacqueo" "Mondo Sommerso", pubblicando reportages dei suoi viaggi. Oggi é conosciuto soprattutto come " L'ARTISTA DEL MARE" per i grandi dipinti, le sculture in plexiglass e originali creazioni - le "FOTOSCULTURE" - con le quali presenta le sue foto come se immerse in un'onda azzurra e la recente preziosa collezione dei "Gioielli del Mare", creati a mano, in oro e perle nere di Tahiti. La continua ricerca creativa lo caratterizza in modo innovativo e originale nel vasto campo del mondo fotografico internazionale. Ha esposto i suoi lavori in mostre personali in tutte le più importanti manifestazioni e Festival in Europa e in Giappone. Dal 1996 fa parte della squadra di Umberto Pelizzari, come fotografo personale e giornalista-documentarista delle sue imprese e dei suoi record mondiali di Apnea profonda. Si avvale della preziosa e costante collaborazione della moglie Teresa Anna Coni, sua modella subacquea, assistente, giornalista e autrice dei testi dei loro reportages di viaggio.

ALBERTO MURO PELLICONI He was born in Imola (Bologna) on 15 september 1949. He studied art in Faenza, since 1969 he has been working and living in Rome-Ciampino.Teach ceramic decoration in Art high school. His very natural and extremely personalised creative talent can be seen in a vast artistic output, expressed in a variety of techniques using many different materials, ranging from steel to plexiglass to caramics, from painting to sculpture to the graphic arts. His warls have been on show in various personal and collective exhibitions both in Italy and abroad. Since he was a young man, his strong interest in photography has given him great and varied experience in this field; a field wich lends itself well to both the creativity of artist and the technical expertise of the professional, thus encouraging the artist to new endeavours. His great passion for the sea in such that MURO PELLICONI dedicates himself almost entirely to the world of underwater photography and the continual exploration and discovery of the sea bottom and of underwater life all over the world. Much of his work has brought him unending recognition and he has won many prestigious awards in some of the most important competitions in this field . Today he is known above all as "the artist of the sea", thanks to the multitude of different forms of his artistic expression : enormous paintings, fantastical sculptures in plexiglass and, his most recent creations, his "Photosculptures", an original way of presenting his photography as though emersed in a structure of waves, a synthesis of his work over the last ten years and of a photographic and creative activity whic ensures that the emerges as a fresh and innovative talent in the vast field of international photography. As a journalist and underwater photographer, he's freelance for specialised magazines (Mondo Sommerso - Il Subacqueo and others in Italy, his portfolio was published in various internationals magazines ), tour operators, publishing write-ups of his travels. From four years is Umberto PELIZZARI's personal photographer.
