Aldo Stefanni nasce a Milano nel 1957, si dedica alla fotografia sin da giovanissimo nel collegio dove studia e lì a 16 anni allestisce la sua prima piccola esposizione fotografica. Si diploma come analista chimico, lavora per anni in varie fabbriche farmaceutiche poi lascia il lavoro si iscrive al liceo e prende il diploma magistrale. Insegna per qualche anno nelle scuole medie in provincia di Milano dove si era trasferito poi lascia l’insegnamento per impegnarsi nell’attività di reinserimento nella società di soggetti in difficoltà e segue corsi serali di fotografia. Si diploma nel ’92 presentando come tesi finale un lavoro sulla fotografia di architettura e riproduzione di opere d’arte, sviluppando però in contemporanea una sua ricerca sul ritratto e sulla figura umana che porta avanti insieme alla formazione tecnica. Nello stesso anno inizia l’attività come fotografo professionista specializzandosi nella riproduzione di opere d’arte collaborando attivamente alla realizzazione di molte campagne fotografiche di catalogazione dei beni artistici sia per enti statali che per enti ecclesiastici. Nel 1998 apre lo studio a Milano e collabora con varie gallerie d’arte e ciò gli permette di avere contatti con molti artisti dai quali trae nuove ispirazioni per la sua personale ricerca espressiva nel campo dell’arte fotografica e nel corso degli anni espone in varie città italiane proponendo inizialmente lavori incentrati sulle tradizioni e attività contadine, sui volti della sua gente o su soggetti architettonici. Nel 2003 espone i suoi primi lavori “pittorialisti” rielaborando tecniche di stampa di fine ‘800, proponendo dei raffinati studi sulla figura umana cercando di valorizzarne l’aspetto estetico e plastico utilizzando la luce per scolpire i corpi delle persone che hanno posato per lui trasmettendo attraverso le sue immagini le suggestioni estetiche che gli venivano dalla lettura di testi poetici o filosofici. Le mostre e i suoi lavori artistici lo hanno fatto notare e successivamente a queste esposizioni è stato richiesto come fotografo da varie agenzie di modelle o di spettacolo e collabora con alcune di esse per la realizzazione di book o servizi di fashion. Tuttora vive e lavora a Milano.

You graduates in the '92 introducing as I extended final a job on the photo of architecture and reproduction of works of art, developing however at the same time one search of his on the portrait and on the human figure that brings ahead together with the technical formation. In the same year it begins the activity as I photograph professional specializing himself in the reproduction of works of art actively collaborating to the realization of a lot of photographic countries of cataloguing of the artistic good both for government corporate body that for ecclesiastical corporate body. In 1998 it opens the study to Milan and it collaborates with various galleries of art and this allows him to have contacts with many artists from which it draws new inspirations for his one man show expressive search in the field of the photographic art and during the years it exposes in the various Italian cities initially proposing based jobs on the traditions and country activity, on the faces of his people or on architectural subjects. In 2003 it exposes his first jobs “pittorialisti” elaborating again techniques of press of elegant ‘800, proposing some refined persons studies on the human figure trying to valorize its aesthetical and plastic aspect using the light to carve the bodies of the people that have placed for him transmitting through his images the aesthetical suggestions that came him from the reading of poetic or philosophical texts. The shows and its artistic jobs have done him notice and subsequently to these exposures he has been in demand as I photograph from various agencies of models or show and it collaborates with some of them for the realization of book or services of fashion. Still alive and he/she works in Milan.
