Nato al Lido di Venezia nel 1953, tecnicamente autodidatta, comincia ad interessarsi attivamente di fotografia fin dagli anni 80. Per lungo tempo collabora con vari studigrafici e pubblicitari nel settore fashion estill life. Nel 1990 decide di abbandonare definitivamente la fotografia commerciale per dedicarsi completamente alla ricerca ed all’affinamento di un proprio stile che trova nel nudo la sua più congeniale espressione.Sperimenta da anni la possibilità di rifarsi ai modelli accademici dell’arte classica, ricorrendo ai moderni mezzi dell’elaborazione digitale di cui fa un uso personale, improntato ad un minimalismo sobrio e contestualizzato.
