Nato a Gorizia nel 1956, vivo da molti anni in provincia di Varese. Ho  iniziato con i primi scatti solo nel 1990 grazie ad un amico che  con la sua bravura ed esperienza mi ha coinvolto nelle attività del Fotoclub Varese dove, tra confronti e discussioni uniti a qualche stimolante commento, è nata in me la vera passione per la fotografia.   Qualche lusinghiero risultato nei concorsi e alcune mostre realizzate con buon successo mi hanno spinto a continuare. Dallo scioglimento del Fotoclub Varese mi sono allontanato un po' dal mondo delle associazioni ed ora fotografo quasi esclusivamente per mio divertimento. A  parte l'esperienza  di una estate dedicata ad un campionato  automobilistico, dove ho fatto largo uso della tecnica del mosso,  cerco di realizzare immagini che non siano la raffigurazione di ciò che tutti vedono, ma cerco l' astratto, il particolare  che oggi c'è e domani sarà sparito,  oppure  uso la  fantasia nelle fotocomposizioni che eseguo manualmente. Mi ha appassionato anche l'utilizzo  della pellicola diapositiva infrared che ho usato nel lavoro dedicato al Sacro Monte di Varese. Da poco uso anche il digitale. Nel 2003 ho realizzato il mio sito internet che dall’estate del 2004 ospita anche le esposizioni di autori nazionali ed internazionali che invito personalmente.
